Charlie Hewitt’s public art focuses on the conceptualization and fabrication of large-scale graphic art pieces that integrate into existing public spaces to provoke community interaction, inspiration, and discourse.

Urban Rattle, 2012, artist Charlie Hewitt’s first public installation, stands today as the only permanent piece of artwork installed on The High Line, the iconic elevated greenway on the west side of Manhattan.

Another Urban rattle has been installed at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and in the heart of downtown Portland, Maine.

Charlie has also designed and installed a 20+ft tall Cowboy boot located in Dallas, Texas all while spreading the Hopeful message along the entire east coast.

Most recently began sharing his digitized illustrations on billboards across NYC and New Jersey.
